We’re very exited to announce the arrival of Thomas White’s “I Dream Of Black”

His debut solo LP “I Dream Of Black” will be released this Monday (23rd June) nationwide and to the world via all good download sites (and in all likelihood some less credible ones!)

- It is available RIGHT NOW at the Drift Record Shop and ships anywhere in the world for £10.

Thomas is of course famous for his efforts in Electric Soft Parade and Brakes, as well as duties in Restless List making having found time to record this album quite an achievement. ‘I Dream Of Black’ is a home crafted dream-scape of whirring synths and psych-guitar, all under the self-imposed remit of "making a cohesive record without going anywhere near a studio".

“Overall proceedings are versatile, essentially original and engaging. Moreover ’I Dream Of Black’ is a somewhat unusual album, in that it is as much of itself while simultaneous sounding like some distant album soundtracking a lost, forgotten 60’s film” - Subba-Culture

“ it’s delightful and you can’t but marvel” - Clash

“In a word, brilliant. a striking slab of old-school lo-fi indie, if you like early Domino or Drag City stuff then you’ll lap this up. It’s out on Drift Records who are fast becoming one of the best UK indie’s ever.” - Is This Music

The album is wrapped in delicious digipack (whilst stocks last!) and at Drift we reckon it’s a belter.
